Object: Defence of the pre-born and families: CP or CHP?

Sirs,

Today's Gospel says: "Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net" [Lc 5:5].

Of course, I haven't received an e-mail from Jesus ordering me to contact you! On the other hand, I know you're both unimpeachable as far as defending pre-born children and families. (I've read Mr. Lemieux's courageous intervention [broken link: www.lifesite.net/ldn/2006/dec/06120707.html], and I know Mr. Petit through Mr. Jean Malouin.) I hereby let down my net:

Have you thought of leaving the Conservative Party of Canada
in order to sit as MPs of the Christian Heritage Party?

I can explain why such a move would be justified for a Christian politician. Just invite me to come and talk to you for a dozen minutes. In the meantime, I'd invite you to read:

O Canada, Land Of Barbarians
Supporting Stephen Harper Is Encouraging Abortion
Pure As Doves, But Dumb As Dodos

Sincerely,

Stefan Jetchick
Financial Agent,
Christian Heritage Party EDA, Louis-Hébert

Post-Scriptum

I met Mr. Jean Malouin, assistant to Mr. Daniel Petit, at 14h00 on 2007-Feb-12 at his office in the Charlesbourg-Haute-Saint-Charles EDA. Mr. Malouin told me that Mr. Petit's official answer was: "No".

I insisted a bit, to try to find out why Mr. Petit was refusing. I asked: "Do you or Mr. Petit have any documents contradicting all the accusations listed in Supporting Stephen Harper Is Encouraging Abortion?"

Mr. Malouin did not know what I was talking about. "Did you read that text?" What text? So I had to take the paper copy of this "Open Letter To Two Conservative MPs" that was on his desk, and explain that when something is underlined, like Dumb As Dodos, it means there is another text "hidden underneath the hyperlink". I had his secretary print them out for him, then we gabbed a bit, and I left.

I will admit that I came home a bit discouraged. O Lord, where are the soldiers we need to fight this battle?
