"Escaping" List

By definition, escaping is not a particularly orderly or foreseeable activity! This list is therefore a bit vague. It contains:

1) The "bug-out bag". Includes the daypack, backup copies of the computer's contents (more important than the computer itself), important papers, a bit of money, enough clothes to stay warm and dry outside, etc. See the objects in the "Camping" list with a little cross (†) next to their name. (The "Camping" list sometimes specifies several copies, like for pairs of socks or underwear; of course, the bug-out bag only contains one copy in those cases.)

Ideally, your keep your bug-out bag packed and close to you. In practice, you pack your bug-out bag when you are about to become more vulnerable (like before you go to sleep in a place away from home, etc.).

2) The "Off-Site" objects. By definition, you can't "grab" these objects and stuff them in your packsack! But the "Off-Site" objects are a critical component of the Kit.
