Good day Mr. or Mrs. "It's A Person.com",

I heard about your web site through LifeSiteNews. I have
a few comments and a few questions.

First, congratulations for fighting against abortion! The
situation in Canada is truly scandalous, and even more
scandalous is the apathy of a large part of the population.

Second, you invite us to voice our opinion about the
"It's A Person" flyer. So here: I have no qualms about
showing graphic pictures. As I recently told a pro-choicer
who was complaining about the "nasty pro-lifers who send
those horrible pictures":

What else can they send? Pictures of Girls in white
dresses with blue satin sashes? Pictures of Snowflakes
that stay on my nose and eyelashes?

If a debate on abortion has to start with ignorance of
basic facts, how can truth be ever attained?

Third, a criticism. I think hiding behind a post office box
greatly reduces your credibility. In my opinion, the
Culture of Death has made huge inroads in North America
mostly because of the cowardice of pro-life Christians.
Your name(s) and address(es) should appear on your web
site. What? You are afraid of retaliation? Go re-read
"In Flander's Fields", then suck it up and be brave!

Fourth, a bunch of small questions:

	- Do you have a French version of that flyer?
	(I'm a translator, and I'm a member of www.proviequebec.ca
which is looking for ways to reach out to pro-choicers.)

	- Do you intend to cover the Province of Quebec also?

	- Have you contacted possible allies in QC to help
with such a mailing, like Georges Buscemi?

God Bless,

Stefan Jetchick

Dear Stephan,

Thank you for your note and comments.

At this time we do not have a French version of the flyer. We would
be more than happy to produce one and distribute it in Québec if we
obtain the funds to do so. Anything you can do in this area to help
would be appreciated. Would Pro-Vie Québec be willing to sponsor that
effort?

So far we have emailed our press releases to all pro-life groups in
Canada where we could find an email address. Additionally,
LifeSiteNews.com has covered our efforts. Thank you for suggesting
that we contact Georges Buscemi. A copy of this email will be sent to
him at qlc@qc.aira.com. I think that he has likely come across our
press releases by this time, however, our internet site can be
accessed at www.itsaperson.com or www.workersforlife.com. For further
information you can contact me at mike at sign workersforlife.com or my
brother, Bill Vandewiel at: bill at sign workersforlife.com or telephone
1-705-686-3812. Bill is the main drive behind this effort.

May God bless you and reward you for your pro-life efforts.

Michael Vande Wiel

P.S. It's difficult to "hide behind a post office box" - they're so
tiny.

Good day Mr. Michael Vande Wiel,

:-)

But seriously, in my opinion it would be preferable to clearly
state "Bill and Michael Vande Wiel" in the "About Us" or "Contact"
page of your web site. Putting your pictures is even better.

>> At this time we do not have a French version of the flyer.

OK.

Great! So would I.

>> Would Pro-Vie Québec be willing to sponsor that

I'm just the secretary, so I can't speak for the group. Moreover,
we're starting up as a pro-life group. (For now, we are a "one-trick
poney", we just organize the yearly Life Chain in Quebec City, but
we want to do much more.)

If I get it my way, and if we can find some money, we will try
something along the lines of your flyer (maybe just a translated
version of your flyer). We need to reach out to many people, and the
Main Stream Media is not going to help us. Some kind of hard-hitting
flyer going into people's mailboxes seems like a reasonable approach.

>> I think that he has likely come across our

Yes, I spoke with Georges and he too was surprised that you didn't
apparently have a French version yet.

>> May God bless you and reward you for your pro-life efforts.

Thanks! You too!

I'll try to keep in touch should we find funds and decide to
do some kind of mailing.

In Christ,

Stefan
